We are pleased to inform you that the Department of Computer Science, Rathinam College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), Coimbatore is organizing a Two Day National Level Workshop on "Android Apps and Security" during 16th &17th December 2016.

We solicit your earnest participation in the workshop, which will go a long way in making the event a success. We request you to kindly give wide publicity in your college for this workshop and encourage your faculty and Students to attend this program.

WORKSHOP THEME

To understand mobile Apps development challenges including memory and processor limitations, intermittent network access, to build variety of Mobile Apps with multiple platforms. Android Apps incorporates industry and Education-leading security features and works with developers and device implementers to keep the Android platform and ecosystem safe.

Understanding of Android Activity, Layout Files, Values files, Manifest and Mipmap

Understanding of Exception Handler

Creation and Installation of Android apk in Mobile devices

Day 2

Auto Completer Text

ListView & Spinner

Android Database Connectivity with SQLite

Custom Menus

Sending SMS through Android Application

Splash Screen using Thread

How to upload the app in google play store

Working with Android Graphics.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation will not be provided by the Organizers. Participants have to make their own accommodation. The participants are expected to bear TA/DA themselves. Assistance will be provided for arranging accommodation in hotels.
