Rathinam Fest - 2019 - 7th March 2019 - Inter Collegiate Cultural and Technical Events



On behalf of Rathinam Group of Institutions, we are pleased to inform about RATHINAM FEST – 2019 An Intercollegiate Cultural and Technical Fest on 7th March 2019. It is a grand event which encourages exchange of Culture, Good Relationship to promote Harmony and Friendship among other State and International Students, so that we could do more to contribute to the diversity living. We take honor in inviting participation from your College / Institution in various events to be held and celebrate the spirit of competition.

Rathinam Fest’19 promises to be an unforgettable event with memories to last a lifetime.
We request you to consider yourself as a Member of this Intercollegiate Meet and encourage your students for their active participation. 
It gives us immense pleasure to welcome you to our college and request you to allow your students to participate in this Festival.

General Rules:
Ø  Registration   Forms   ca be   sent   eithe b post    in   person    e-mail   to
rathinamfest@rathinam.in.
Ø  Confirm your authorized registration using the form enclosed on or before 07th March 2019.
Ø  Participants should report at 8.00 am 07th March 2019.
Ø  There is NO RESTRICTION for No. of Participants per College.
Ø  Spot registration is also accepted.
Ø  Participants need to produce their college ID card at the time of registration.
Ø  Allowance for travelling and accommodation will not be provided.
Ø  Participants should bring their own audio CDs (MP3 Format), Pen Drive and other materials.
Ø  Participants will be solely responsible for their belongings.
Ø  Vulgarity in any form is not allowed.
Ø  Decision of the judges will be the final.
Ø  Alcohol & smoking are strictly prohibited.
Ø  Need based decisions may be taken by the organizers.
Ø  Participants are requested to collect their participant card & food token from registration desk at the time of Registration.
Ø  Registration Fees. 100 Rs per Student.

(Web Designing)
1.      Two Participants per team
2.      Time duration one hour
3.      Themes will be given on the spot
4.      Participants can use HTML/ Photoshop
5.      The final web page must be converted in to HTML format

Debugging
1.      Two Participants per team
2.      Time duration 30 Minutes
3.      Participant must know C, C++, Java, HTML. Prelims will be conducted.

Circuit Debugging
1.   Three Participants per team
2.   Original Schematic diagram and faulty circuit will be given.
3.   Team has to locate the faults successfully within time limit.
4.    Difficulty level will be increased as teams moving to the final  
       round There will be time bonus in final round.

Circuit Designing
1.      You will be given circuit diagram
2.      You have to make a circuit in least time possible. Maximum time will be 2 hours
3.      After completing the circuit, your circuit will be tested.
4.      Team whose circuit works correctly first will be the winner.
5.      No access to the Internet is permitted.

Project Demonstration
1.      Participants should bring all the required materials.
2.      The participant has to answer the questions raised
3.      The participant may bring a model or idea that he/she innovated.

CAD Contest
1.      Any department student of any college can participate in this event.
2.      It is an individual contest and NOT IN PAIRS.
3.      The drawing will be neither Mechanical nor Architectural.
4.      It will be a 2D or 3D drawing of a certain difficulty.
5.      Each participant will be given an hour to complete the drawing.

Tuc Tuc Go
(Treasure Hunt)
1.      Four  Participants per team.
2.      No Communication device (including mobile) Allowed.
3.      Hints will be provided on spot.
4.      Time duration 90 Minutes.
5.      The team arriving first with all the 4 members and the TREASURE will be declared as the winner.
6.      In case of two teams arriving simultaneously on the finish line, the team with maximum no. of clues will make way.
7.      In case of two teams arriving simultaneously on the finish line with equal no. of clues, the tie breaker would comprise of solving a riddle.

1.      The drawing / painting must not include words, national flags, or slogans.
2.      Acceptable tools of drawing / painting include pencil, crayon, water color, oil paint, computer drawing, etc. Photographs, wires, and other 3D objects are not acceptable. The completed artwork must be on a flat piece of paper.
3.      The drawing / painting must not represent any particular individual, organization, or brand name and must not depict any religious theme.
4.      THEME will be given on SPOT.
